ED IN MOTION
I am Edward, a seasoned Motion Designer from Melbourne, Australia, with over a decade of experience in creating engaging explainer videos for internal training, advertisements, and social media.
Of Chilean descent, I bring a rich cultural perspective to my work, blending creativity with technical expertise.

Throughout my career, I have worn many hats beyond animation, including roles as a producer, director, and team lead.

I have managed teams, collaborated closely with directors and producers, maintained direct client relationships, and ensured scripts align with both budgets and timelines.
While motion design remains at the core of my expertise, I have also explored video production, refining my eye for composition, editing, and storytelling.
I have skills in copywriting and an extensive knowledge of social media marketing. A side project, Motibitz, went viral last year, Which allowed me to help creators elevate their content through strategic marketing.
Outside of work, I am an avid traveler, always with my camera in hand, capturing the world through my lens. My passion for exploring new places fuels my creativity and informs my work. I also have a keen interest in AI and product design, continuously seeking to learn and integrate new technologies and ideas into my projects.
I am an independent thinker who thrives in collaborative environments. And value strong communication to build relationships.

What makes me different?
IT'S ALL ABOUT CHARACTER
I’m passionate about bringing characters to life because they are at the heart of storytelling.
When done well, animation can breathe life into characters, creating emotional connections that resonate with audiences.
A well-animated character has the power to make people laugh, cry, and experience a full range of emotions.

In every project, I approach each asset with intention, ensuring that every movement serves the story, not just the animation.
For me, it’s about more than just motion—it's about storytelling through every frame.
Intention is everything.
